Hey, I’m Cally — also known as The Lifestyle Hairstylist — and I’m the founder of House of Coco Collective.

With 12 industry award wins, I’m proud to call myself a multi–award-winning creative commercial hairstylist, home-salon advocate, and business mentor.

When I’m not backstage at a photoshoot or styling for the catwalk, you’ll find me in my quirky salon in Reigate — creating epic hair for our local babes.

While I’m experienced across all areas, I’m especially passionate about grey blending. I love helping clients embrace their authenticity and wear their silver sparkles with confidence. In my chair, you are guaranteed to feel valued, listened to, and celebrated.

I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love every day.

The name "House of Coco" has a special place in my heart. My salon journey began in my home, and my dog, Coco, has been there every step of the way. She’s become such a beloved part of the experience that my clients often look forward to seeing her just as much as they do me!

Although The House of Coco collective still operates from my home for now, we have exciting plans on the horizon. The vision is to grow into a full Wellness Hub — a space that goes beyond hair, where creativity, wellbeing, and community come together.

From the girl who couldn’t sit still…

to the stylist who never stopped dreaming.

I stepped into the world of hairdressing at age 13 as a Saturday girl — and I instantly fell in love. School and I never quite clicked; I’m a born creative, always moving & daydreaming!

At one point, a teacher told me that I’d end up “cleaning toilets for a living” because I couldn’t sit still or concentrate.

Although that comment hurt me, I let it fuel me!

Determined not to become the stereotype of the kid who didn’t fit the system, I threw myself into learning everything I could about hair. It was the first time I ever felt true passion for education.

I trained at John Carne in Wimbledon Village, and I’ll always be grateful for the foundations they gave me. Beyond technical skills, they taught me the art of communication.

“Talk less. Listen more,” my boss would say — a simple but powerful philosophy that shaped the way I connect with my clients and I believe has positively shaped my success.

From there, I went on to Toni & Guy and Charles Worthington before venturing into the freelance world.

Bringing visions to life, whether backstage or behind the chair.

As a freelancer, I explored every corner of the industry — from weddings and events to editorial photoshoots, Fashion Week in Surrey, London, and Milan, TV, red carpet, and celebrity hair styling.

I’ve had the honour of styling incredible women such as Amanda Holden, Amber Le Bon, Alexa Davalos, Bonnie Wright, Helen McCrory, Nicola Roberts, Amber Anderson, and many more.

My work has been featured in multiple magazines & news papers such as Hairdressers Journal, Salon Focus, Salon Business, Creative Head, Respect for Hair, The Sunday Times, The Surrey Mirror, and even on BBC Surrey Radio. I’ve also appeared on leading industry podcasts, including How to Cut It, Respectfully, and Hair Life — where I later joined as co-host in January 2024.
